Privacy policy
YogDog Studios Ltd runs yogdog.com. This page explains what personal data we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We are a small studio. There is no data team hiding behind this policy; the person accountable for your data is the person who runs the company.
Who we are
YogDog Studios Ltd, company number 16657822, registered at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller for this site.
Questions, requests, complaints: hello@yogdog.com.
What we collect and why
The enquiry form. If you use the form, we collect your name, email address, company, website and whatever you write in your message. We use it to reply to you and to work out whether we are the right studio for your project. That is the only thing we use it for. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
Email. If you email us directly, we keep the correspondence for as long as the conversation, or the working relationship it leads to, stays live.
Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site: which pages get read, where visitors come from, roughly where in the world they are. This data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you. If you decline analytics cookies, this simply does not happen. Lawful basis: consent, given or refused through the cookie banner and changeable at any time.
Server logs. Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request data to serve the site and protect it from abuse. This is standard for any website and is necessary for the site to work at all.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run advertising or tracking pixels. We do not make automated decisions about you. We do not send marketing emails; if that ever changes, it will be opt-in and this policy will say so first.
Where your data lives
The site runs on our own publishing platform, hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Enquiry submissions are stored there and emailed to us. The providers that process data on our behalf are listed on our sub-processors page.
Some providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep things
Enquiries and correspondence: for the life of the conversation or relationship, then reviewed and deleted. Analytics data: retained per the Google Analytics retention setting for this site, then deleted automatically. If you ask us to delete your data, we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, object to our use of it, or hand it to you in a portable format. Email hello@yogdog.com and we will sort it out. You will not be charged and we will not make it difficult.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to fix it first.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. We will not quietly weaken it.
